Background:
Starting in 2011, the Office of the Child and Youth Advocate (OCYA) has hosted or co-hosted this event biennially, featuring thought-provoking sessions on child legal representation and how to represent this most vulnerable population in the best possible way. We have gathered in Banff, Jasper, Calgary, Edmonton, Enoch, and Canmore. The Conference The conference will be offered in person. Speakers and attendees will appear in person. Pre- and post-conference recordings may be available. Over the two days, attendees can expect keynote speakers, breakout sessions, experiential Indigenous learning sessions, panels, information booths, and opportunities to network. |
